Most of our time is spent learning to read. We begin with simple phonics and build from there. Our phonics, spelling and English lessons are integrated. The stories we read give examples of Biblical principles. In our Bible time we study God's goodness and celebrate what He has given us. We begin with creation, the place He gave us to live and on through the leaders, helpers, His Word, His Son, the Church and our individual gifts and abilities. In math, we learn basic principles and build from there. Manipulatives are used to develop number sense.
