Mrs. Dawn VanArsdale was born and raised in Pigeon, Michigan. She studied piano through her childhood. During 1984-1990 she completed a Bachelors Degree in Piano Pedagogy at Bethel College, Mishawaka, Indiana. She also taught at Christian Center School, South Bend for 8 yrs. Her teaching duties included Music Appreciation, Basic Theory, Choir Classes, and Special Performances for Grades 1-12. She also has conducted the March for Jesus Community Choir of Elkhart for 3 yrs. Mrs. VanArsdale has been teaching private piano and voice at Introspect Studios since 1989. She is currently serving as Pianist and Choir Director for New Creation Fellowship. She began teaching music for New Creation Academy in the fall of 1999. Mrs. VanArsdale is impassioned with the heartbeat of music and the heartbeat of the musician and is devoted to raising the standards of the musician, especially the church musician.

ABOUT THE MUSIC CLASS:

The Music Classes for the Kindergarten-6th Grade are devoted to the heartbeat of music and the heartbeat of the musician. There are six areas of music that are highlighted throughout the school year. Here are the areas: Rhythm, Theory, Music History and Symphony, Vocal Technic, Praise, and Worship.
